Time Trails and View Notes
Time Trails |
Shows the position of objects during the duration of animation. Try turning them on for individual objects. Actual data points (taken with each instance of time available) are represented by kinks, width, and/or rings—similar to a dot representing data coordinates on a graph.
NOTE: Color can also be represented in time trails, but is modified in the Color control panel via the min, mid, and max colors.

Show Line: applies a continuous line trail. Shows kinks at actual data points for X, Y, and Z mapped attributes
Line Width: adjusts line width
Show Ribbon: applies a continuous wide, flat ribbon trail. Shows kinks and changes width at actual data points for radius and X, Y, and Z mapped attributes
Show Rings: applies a ring at every instance of actual data (not a continuous ring). Shows rings and changes ring size at actual data points for radius and X, Y, and Z mapped attributes
