| Nested workspaces can be interlinked (files and folders can't) |
|
Quantum4D brings taxonomies and hirearchies back into the sphere of seamless access. Spaces can be nested inside objects and objects can be nested in spaces in an infinite "russian doll" effect. Are you constantly moving files around to organize them via multiple ways of seeing or organizing them? Well, Quantum4D lets you place the same object in multiple spaces. This basically enables you and communities of users to have your own or shared ways of organizing files that don't exlude the possibility or ease of access to other ways of organizing data. |
Navigate nested workspaces.

| Taxonomies and hirearchies are the roots and branches of knowledge. In today's traditional page based interfaces, all knowledge is chopped into pages that are then sorted and organized in files. The problem with this approach is that it isolates the data and information contained in each leaf (page/file) and constrains the user to the weakest of links - a hyperlink. There is no way to move identity, data, dynamics, or model references easily across these. In a way, files and folders kill the tree and leave us trying to grow it back in our heads after sorting through the leaves. |
