Hello,

I keep getting a circle that one of my objects will attach itself to at a certain point in my chart. What is it and how do I get rid of it?

Thanks,

Andre

Circles

Andre,

This is a tricky question (but a good one!) Without knowing the specifics of your data, I will try my best to answer your question. There are three ways to get rid of a circle in your layout. First, let's address why the circle is there. Most of the time if a circle is showing in the space it indicates one of two things: You've imported data and haven't mapped any features or applied a lens OR you've got data with mapped features, but some of the data is incomplete.

1. In either case you can simply get rid of the circle by going to Object>Layout and uncheck the "show circle" box

2. Another fix that will show you more about the information is to hide objects with incomplete data. To do this go to Object>Visibility and choose "Hide objects with incomplete data". This will allow you to see the other functioning objects without the distraction of the incomplete objects floating on the circle.

3. If the circle is there because of incomplete data, the best thing to do is to fix the data. If this isn't possible (say you can't get data for a certain time range), then try one of the other two options.

I hope this helps!
