Do you mean the 3D space axis labels on the control panel? That label is actually the formula name used; so if I wanted to see the percent change of Google's income, for example, I would write a formula like pctchg(a) and choose "income" on Google as "a".

 

We allow you to manually change the names of variables on the grid/axis control panel. We'll migrate these controls directly into the 3D space as we go forward. We're constantly torn between "simple English" terms and the formalism that has emerged as best practices among the quants.
