Screen Overview

When you launch Quantum4D you will see five major areas on your screen:

• Toolbar – Easy access buttons to most of your controls.
• Space – A three-dimensional canvas.  This is your primary workspace, like your page on a desktop.
• Objects – These are “things” in space, i.e. people, places, and other “entities” that have data about them.
• Tree – Allows you to navigate through layers of data and shows you where you are in your database (when round icon is highlighted in blue).  The tree is made up of nested spaces inside objects.  Try double clicking one of the round icons (spaces) to enter a space.
• Lens Settings – double click to change features, which attributes are mapped and how they are configured.
