Labels

Turns the labels on or off, as well as changes the color, size, and position of the labels. To change the label color, uncheck Auto-Contrast. You can also show the actual mapped values for each concern by using the shortcut keys (x,y,z,c,r,s).

Appearance
Show Labels: turns label on and off
Show Background: turns label background on and off
Variable Size: if turned on, label size will get smaller or larger as you zoom in and out.
Color: choose a label color
Offset (Vertical): shifts labels vertically
Offset (Horizontal): shifts labels to the right or left of the object
Font
Font drop-down selector: shows a list of fonts to choose from
Size: manually changes the label size
Bold: bolds label
Italic: italicizes label
Flags
Show Icon: if turned on, shows a flag icon next to the flag text
Show Text: turns flag text on and off
Flag Offset (Vertical): shifts flat text vertically
Flag Offset (Horizontal): shifts flag text label horizontally (left and right)
Adjust Offset for Object Size: offsets label according to object size. If the object gets larger, then the flag offsets further. If the object reduces in size, then the flag offsets less.
Feature Display
Object Label Feature: shows the actual data value for objects on the mapped feature that is chosen
Relation Label Feature: shows the actual data for relations on mapped feature that is chosen
