Inheritance

Parent, Local, and Default Settings

Display setting for a scene element (an object or a relation), or for a group of scene elements, can be set in one of the following ways:

Inherited from Parent: An element with nothing applied automatically inherits the parent space/group settings.

Local Settings: You can specify settings for the element locally (only applies to the current space). In this instance, you would choose an image to apply to the object locally.

Apply Defaults: Click the Apply Defaults button to use the default settings for this element.

Clear: At any point you can clear all settings on an element and return it to the Inherted from Parent state.
