Attributes are the basic data building blocks of models and views of your world. This is the realm of traditional rows, columns and report text. Unlike spreadsheets, data is associated with objects and relations - which lets you manage your data easier. If you want China's GDP, you simply search for China, drag it in a space, and all your data (potentially from multiple sources!) on China is there at one click. You can also click on an attribute to see what lenses or objects it appears on. This lets you pivot through and explore insights on data quickly. When attributes update, all the views which use that data update too. Think of attributes as your basic building blocks.
